Simona Halep (Romanian)
Halep smashed Angelique Kerber’s dreams of taking home the single’s open with a 6-2, 6-3 victory.

Victoria Azarenka (Russian)
Azarenka won the singles cup by beating Australia’s Samantha Stosur 6-1, 6-2.
2005
Maria Sharapova (Russian flag)
The Russian player beat Alicia Molik 4-6, 6-1, 6-4 in the women’s finals to win the WTA cup.

Coco Gauff, Jessica Pegula (USA)
Gauff and Pegula took on Elise Mertens from Germany and Veronika Kudermetova from Russia, taking the win with 3–6, 7–5, [10–5].
2019
Chan Hao-ching and Latisha Chan (Taiwan)
The duo beat Anna-Lena Grönefeld and Demi Schuurs 6–1, 3–6, [10–6] in the finals.

Sara Errani and Roberta Vinci (Italy)
The Italian team snatched the victory from Nadia Petrova and Katarina Srebotnik with a 2–6, 6–3, [10–6] win.

Květa Peschke (Czech) and Katarina Srebotnik (Slovenia)
This doubles team trumped over Liezel Huber and Nadia Petrova with a 7–5, 6–7(2–7) , [10–8] win.

Schiavone and Molik got the upper hand in the Open over Cara Black and Liezel Huber with 6-4, 6-3.
