Education City Stadium

Dubbed the “Diamond in the Desert” owing to its façade, Education City Stadium opened in June 2020. Nestled amidst the university campuses in Qatar Foundation's Education City complex, the stadium is shaped like a jagged diamond. Triangles form diamond-shaped geometrical patterns which seem to change colour through the day, as the sun moves across the sky.  After the FIFA World Cup 2022™ the stadium will retain 20,000 seats for university athletics, while the rest will be donated to countries requiring sporting infrastructure.

How to get there?
