Day 1
Morning

Counted among the world’s top pearl diving centres, Qatar is an ideal destination for diving. Explore the fascinating marine life, boat wrecks and limestone formations. PADI training courses and trips are offered by many diving centres and tour operators at a variety of locations. 

Afternoon

Strong winds and vast skies make the deserts of Qatar perfect for paragliding, discover a different perspective of land and sea. Initially used as part of the pilot survival training by NASA in the 1960s, parasailing is a thrilling experience of soaring at a height of up to 100 meters on a parachute tied to a speedboat. 

Evening

With hundreds of miles of of coastline, sailing is one of the best ways to see the country. With sailing clubs offering training in dinghies, keelboats, traditional dhows, luxury yachts, and even dragon boating, Qatar caters to all types of sea-obsessed holidaymakers.

Day 2
Morning

A short boat ride from Doha, Banana Island is a perfect for water adventures including the signature banana boats, snorkeling, or just relaxing by the beach.

Afternoon

The Corniche offers spectacular views of the Gulf on one side and Doha’s glistening skyline on the other. There’s plenty of water activities including jet skiing and stand-up paddle boarding but a dhow boat ride is a must-try experience, ideally around sunset.

Evening

Desert Falls Water & Adventure Park is one of the most impressive theme parks in the region, with more than 25 water slides, rides and attractions. Visit and experience thrilling adventures. Katara Beach Club offers a host of leisure activities, from gondola rides and speedboats to thrilling jet skis and even motorised robot sharks.

Day 3
Morning

Start your day with a sumptuous meal at your hotel. Take a short boat ride from Doha and head to Banana Island to explore your options for water activities with views you’d love. Experience snorkeling, a banana boat ride or enjoy a laid back morning by the pristine beach. 

Afternoon

Scuba diving has become a highly popular activity in Qatar. And one of the most popular places for dives is called Old Club Reef, just before Sealine Beach Resort. Sunken vehicles and oil drums turned into underwater reefs, create a welcoming environment for marine life. And divers. 

Evening

The Katara Cultural Village is bordered by a gorgeous beach and is home to the Katara Beach club that offers an array of thrilling activities and adventures, from gondola rides and speedboats to exciting jet skis and even motorised robot sharks.

Day 4
Morning

Skydiving is truly an incredible experience. So, drop by Skydive Qatar near Al Khor Airport and get the adrenaline-pumping excitement of leaping from a plane at 13,000 feet and falling earthward. It’s an amazing, once-in-a-lifetime thrill.

Afternoon

The desert then becomes a roller coaster ride when you go dune bashing over undulating sandy hills. With an experienced driver you embark upon the craziest desert experience imaginable. Plunge down sheer drops and zigzag up towering dunes for the bumpiest, scariest time of your life. If dune bashing excites you, then try sand skiing and quad biking. Feel the adrenaline rush as you skid down massive dunes.

Evening

Enjoy luxurious accommodation while glamping - glamourous camping - under the stars. Spread a picnic mat to enjoy a waterfront dinner while the children play beach football and volleyball. Come nightfall, retire to your spacious, opulent tent complete with all the mod cons.  This is an absolute blissful experience that is not to be missed.

Day 5
Morning

Bir Zekreet is a region along the north-western coast dotted with intriguing rock formations that make for great photo opportunities. Centuries of perennial strong winds have gradually eaten away the softer sedimentary rocks, chiselling the limestone boulders into a variety of interesting shapes. Some sport mushroom outlines while others have holes carved through them as though pierced by a giant imaginary sword.  Production companies regularly film here. So, if you do stumble across random huts, don’t be fooled into thinking them to be real. Still, these man-made structures do make for a great photo!

Afternoon

Dhal Al Misfir is Qatar’s best-known cave. This deep hold holds a spectacular natural phenomenon – a vast depository of gypsum crystals that shimmer and emit warm glows. The crystals, called desert roses due to their uncanny likeness to the flower, shine like a diamond.

Just off Al Shamal Highway along the North East coast, Al-Jassasiya is arguably one of the most peculiar landmarks in Qatar, in no small part due to the fact that scientists have yet to date the origins of the stone carvings there. You will discover loads of mysterious petroglyphs, which are prehistoric rock carvings. Best visited in the morning or evenings, Al-Jassasiya makes for a great day out from the comfortable Doha cityscape. Whenever the sun gets too scorching, you can always just head back into the city and cover even more activities there!
