The FIFA Arab Cup™️ sees 16 teams from across the Arab world come together to compete. This 19-day extravaganza offers a great opportunity for countries and spectators alike to experience the spirit of Qatar and the iconic stadiums that will host the World Cup in 2022.

The Arab Cup presents the perfect opportunity for Qatar to reveal its ultra-modern facilities to a sports-loving global audience; to football-infatuated Qataris and to thousands of highly enthusiastic travelling fans. After a series of exciting qualifying matches, which brought elation to the winning teams and their supporters, the eagerly awaited tournament kicks off on November 30. Sixteen countries from across the region will compete in a group stage. This will be followed by do-or-die knockout matches. The champions of the Arab world will be crowned at the Final on December 18.

The opening game features a match between Qatar and Bahrain. Between matches, fans will be free to enjoy Qatar’s world-famous hospitality and explore all that this appealing, unique peninsular has to offer: excellent dining, pristine beaches, nature reserves and diverse watersports. Museums resplendent with ancient artefacts; forts with a history of defending the nation; and high-end retail malls offering world-famous brands. Compact Qatar, with minimal travel distances between football venues and perfect winter weather, is quite simply the ideal destination for an event of this magnitude.

Six futuristic venues await eager fans. Al Bayt Stadium is an amazing example of architectural excellence. With design inspired by Bedouin tents, this 60,000-seat marvel, with its retractable roof and innovative cooling technologies, will host both the opening and final matches. Equally inspiring, Al Thumama Stadium - it’s exterior designed to resemble Arab headwear - and Ras Abu Aboud Stadium, are both state-of-the-art, and both brand new. Ahmad Bin Ali, Education City and Al Janoub stadiums complete this impressive line-up of exceptional venues.

The region’s first-ever football fiesta is fast approaching. Grab your tickets before someone else does. The first phase of ticket sales ends on August 17 and  VISA cardholders are prioritised. A second phase will be from September 28 to October 12 and a third from November 2 until the end of the tournament.

In light of the latest travel policies and safety measures taken due to the pandemic, visitors who are fully vaccinated are now welcome to visit the State of Qatar.
