Qatar's Destination Brand

The launch of the Qatar destination brand in November 2015 is highly significant to the development of Qatar’s tourism promotion.

The brand assets, comprising specially designed typography, signature photography and videography, visual language and a carefully crafted wordmark, were all developed after extensive consultations with stakeholders to reflect and celebrate Qatar’s culture and the unique attributes and attractions of the destination.

The hallmark brand reflects the rich burgundy shade featured on Qatar’s national flag, while the business events and sports sub-brands have their own blue-grey and beige-gold colour palettes, echoing the colours of the Gulf waters and the desert dunes respectively.

The brand provides a strong, memorable and consistent signature ensuring Qatar’s global and regional prominence and promising to position Qatar on the international tourism map.
